Ps3 emulator games skate 31/12/2024 ![]() ![]() If you have an 8 core, later generation CPU definitely do the RPCS3 version, if your processor is shit like mine is, emulate on Xenia. The takeaway? RPCS3 uses your processor a lot more, while Xenia Canary balances processor and GPU a lot better. ![]() The only problem is that the game looks a little choppy and I don't know how to change that because the emulator has almost no menus or settings. It's much more playable on my system, running like a native game at 60fps without stuttering. The Xenia version (XENIA CANARY, the master release doesn't work) didn't need any config and also didn't crash anymore. The audio was almost completely broken no matter the settings. Yesterday I got both versions working.įrom my tests, the RPCS3 version is much more optimized than a few years ago but still stuttery, and the emulator is far better in terms of config, interface and settings. The RPCS3 version was playable but the audio was very stuttery. The processor is obviously my biggest bottleneck.Ī few years ago I tried emulating the Xbox 360 version on the Xenia emulator and it would crash after the menu screen. I have a 4 core intel Xeon, 16GB ram and a GTX 1060 6GB. I'm going to compare the game's performance across 2 emulators on my system: RPCS3 and Xenia Canary.įor context I've never owned a console in my life and always wanted to play this game. ![]()
